Economic Impacts of Rivers, Lakes, and Streams in Arizona
Arizona’s Western Waters, a branch of the National Audubon Society, researched the economic impact rivers, lakes, and streams have on the state’s economy. The findings show Arizona’s waterways are enjoyed by over 1.5 million residents each year, contribute $13.5 billion to the state’s economy, and support 114,000 jobs.
Investing in Student Mental Health
In a first of its kind report, the American Council on Education uses empirical evidence from college student populations and examples from college presidents to examine how higher education leadership can advocate for and invest in student mental health.
To The Point Series
ACE released the first two briefs in a series that focuses on how presidents and other campus leaders can practically consider and address tensions around inclusion and freedom of expression at their own institutions. The “To The Point” series of briefs is part of a larger effort by ACE to provide a platform for higher education leaders to exchange ideas and best practices and to build awareness and understanding of the opportunities and challenges in balancing these tensions.
Conducted every five years, Mapping Internationalization on U.S. Campuses assesses the current state of internationalization at American colleges and universities, analyzes progress and trends over time, and identifies future priorities. This report won an Editorial Design award from the 2018 American Inhouse Design Awards.
